Making History—Telling the Stories That Shaped Us
A Personal Memoir Writing Workshop Inspired by Making History by Kim Pearson
Discover the power of personal narrative in Making History—Telling the Stories That Shaped Us, an interactive memoir writing workshop inspired by Kim Pearson’s Making History. Wendy Gregory of The Fairfield County Heritage Association will take you through the craft of guided reflection, writing, and storytelling for your personal memoir. Participants will explore how their lives and family histories intersect with broader historical events—transforming memory into legacy. You will also learn the details of accessing the rich historical and genealogical resources available to you here at the library, and elsewhere in Fairfield.
This is a 6 week cumulative, so consistent attendees will have a better chance at getting the most out of this program. However, please don't let that stop you from attending as you can!
You can find registration for this class online via our Events tab, or register over-the-phone by calling us at 740-653-2745 ext. 160.
