How to use the Internet
Join your Guiding Ohio Online Technology Trainer in an exploration of two of the most basic components of using the internet: Web Browsers and Search Engines. If you're not sure what those are, or of the difference between them, this program is for you! You'll also learn some other internet-specific vocabulary, learn how to read a web address, and learn how to read the results of a web search. You'll leave the session empowered to use the internet to search for anything you like, and with a list of some of the most widely visited, popular, and useful websites.
This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the State Library of Ohio.
