You're never too old to create great art! Join us for a performance and craft, and learn why it's important that we continually express ourselves as we age.
It's never too late to create! Spend an afternoon with us learning about aging creatively, and artistic expression in our golden years. This program will include a monologue written and read by Gladys Lawrence, a display of her art, and sharing of her personal experiences and improvisational dances developed while performing with the Perennial Movement Group, an over 50's performance group in Columbus Ohio.
Additionally, programming librarian Ben will be speaking about how you can become more involved in the arts at your own speed, no matter your age, and guide us through a small motivational craft to help ease those fears of art.
Pre-Registration is not mandatory, but it is recommended. You can reserve a spot through our website at fcdlibrary.org, or by calling us at 740-653-2745 ext. 160.
