Learn the basics of birding with Tara Hutson, a lifelong birdwatcher who consistently participates in citizen science projects through iNaturalist, eBird, and Zooniverse. Bring your own binoculars (BYOB) or try a pair from our new birding backpacks! We’ll also be learning about Merlin and eBird, apps that help to identify and track the birds you discover.
No registration necessary.

Our Northwest Branch, located in Carroll, is home to our original Early Literacy Center. In addition to to the ELC, the Northwest Branch features the Peter Rabbit Story Garden, beautiful any time of year, but especially so in spring and summer.
