Whether you are a homeowner, tenant, landlord, property owner, or curious citizen, join us during April’s Fair Housing Month for a presentation/discussion about the basics of fair housing. Discussion will include information about protected classes, prohibited practices, reasonable accommodations, filing a complaint, advocacy, and more. General questions are welcome!* Hosted by the City of Lancaster/Community Development Department and led by experts from the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, Southeastern Ohio Legal Services, and the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development.
* Direct legal advice on a specific problem will not be addressed at the presentation. Avenues to explore specific questions will be explained.
