The Woman They Could Not Silence is the dramatic and uplifting tale of Elizabeth Packard, a forgotten woman whose inspirational journey after being committed to an insane asylum by her husband sparked lasting change for women's rights and exposed injustices that still resonate today.
Our Main Library is located in downtown Lancaster. This location features a large meeting room, as well as a board room and study room. Our children's area has an Early Literacy Center, perfect for preschool-aged children.
