Automakers love naming cars after after things in the sky. Join us on a trip down memory lane as we look take a look at them.
Ever since 1905 U.S. automakers seem to have felt like naming some of their cars after things in the sky. Mercury is the fastest planet in the Solar System so the Mercury auto should also be the fastest! Join us on a trip down memory lane to see which celestial motor vehicles you may have owned. Roger Grossenbacher's favorite was a station wagon named after a Zodiac Bull. It was big enough to carry his six-foot long telescope.

About the branch
Our Main Library is located in downtown Lancaster. This location features a large meeting room, as well as a board room and study room. Our children's area has an Early Literacy Center, perfect for preschool-aged children.
